Before competing in the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup games, the national football team of El Salvador stopped by South Central Family Health Center to get their COVID-19 vaccines!

Our spaces at South Central Family Health Center are rapidly growly. Thanks to L.A Care’s Provider Recruitment Grant we were able to add two new providers to our growing organization. Welcome to our family Dr. Sunitha Gill and Dr. Ava Azimi.

Every year SCFHC holds a toy drive to ensure that all families in South LA have access to toys for the holiday season. We were so pleased to provide toys for over 100 families this year! Thanks to Hermosa Beach, Care 1st, Kelly Toy Inc. and Office Depot for their generous donations!

We’ve accomplished so much this year. In 2017, we opened two specialty clinics to provide increased access to women’s health, chronic disease management and dental care services. None of this work would have been possible without our dedicated staff. Their care and compassion have allowed us to serve thousand of patients and their families.

This year we celebrate the opening of an 8000 sq ft medical building that houses the S. Mark Taper Women’s Health Center as well as the Chronic Disease Management Center.
