SCFHC was recognized by NCQA for its patient centered approach to care and was certified as a Patient Centered Medical Home. Our team of medical providers put always put patients first, allowing us to forge better relationships between our patients and our primary care staff. This approach has been proven to improve patient experience and staff satisfaction, while reducing health care cost. SCFHC's sites were recertified in 2020.

South Central Family Health Center is a Federal Torts Claims Act (FTCA) deemed facility.  The Federally Supported Health Centers Assistance Act of 1992 and 1995 granted medical malpractice liability protection through the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) to HRSA-supported health centers. Under the Act, health centers are considered Federal employees and are immune from lawsuits, with the Federal government acting as their primary insurer.
