Tele-health
Beginning March 23rd, SCFHC began providing over the phone and computer to computer visits for our established patients to keep everyone safer during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak. These medical visits are known as "tele-health" visits.
Tele-health is the default way that SCFHC provides patient visits during the COVID-19 pandemic. It allows our patients to stay at home, or to access care in a place of their choosing so they can practice social distancing and reduce the risk of being exposed to the coronavirus.
Some health visits, such as physicals for adults or well-child visits for children, cannot be done over the phone or via computer. If your medical need requires you to come into our clinics, your doctor or medical provider will provide you with guidance and recommendations about how we will care for your safely in our clinics.
SCFHC's medical providers follow all OSHA, CDC, and HRSA guidelines related to keep all our patients and staff safe in our clinics and beyond.
