Volunteers play a key role in our ability to achieve our mission of eliminating health disparities and fostering community well-being by providing and promoting the highest quality care in South Los Angeles.
Whether you are a South Central Family Health Center patient, a recent retiree, a prospective or current student, exploring a career change, or just desire to make a difference in the South Los Angeles community, we welcome the valuable donation of your time and yourself.
Anyone over 18 years of age is encouraged to reach out to us to that we can match your interest with current projects at South Central Family Health Center.
Volunteer Expectations:
Successfully complete all volunteer requirements and paperwork
Provide proof of physical exam and negative TB test each year
Provide proof of any applicable licenses
Treat all patients, volunteers, and staff with dignity, respect and courtesy
Observe patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines
Attend required training sessions and meetings
Respect the policies, rules, and regulations of South Central Family Health Center
