About this location

SCFHC opened its Wellness Center at Elizabeth High School in September 2016. This was made possible in participation with the L.A. Trust for Children’s Health and LAUSD.

Since then, SCFHC has been proudly offering comprehensive primary care services accessible to not only students but the community as a whole.

School-based wellness centers like this one make visiting your doctor as easy as walking down the school hallway. ALL students are eligible for services, regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay.

Students must have a consent form signed by a parent or guardian to receive services.

Who do we serve?

Everyone regardless of documentation status, age, gender, race, background, or ability to pay.

How do students use our Wellness Centers?

Wellness Centers make visiting your primary care doctor as easy as walking down the hall!

All students are eligible for services, provided that they have a consent form signed by a parent or guardian. Parents are not required to attend visits with their child. All services provided by our Wellness Centers are confidential.

Request to Report slips are given to students for appointments during school. We will do everything we can to insure that students miss as little class time as possible. Students may also visit their Wellness Center without an appointment by getting a pass from the Student Support Service Coordinator, a Counselor or a School Nurse.
